Jackson Stearns - Player Bio

Jackson Stearns #21
Height: 6' 4"
College: SDSU
Years Amateur: 9
Years Pro: 3
Position: Cutter

Jackson Stearns was one of the top goal scorers for the San Jose Spiders in 2016. His 24 goals were third behind Sean ham and Kelly Van Arsdale. At 6' 4" Jackson is a matchup problem for any defense. He was a potent complement to 6' 5" Kelly Van Arsdale and the combination pulled bigger and taller defenders away from Sean Ham.

Jackson was a new additions to the Spiders in 2016 after he played two years with the San Francisco Dogfish of the MLU. Jackson showed up on the Spider's radar in 2013 and was the top pick from the 2014 open tryout. Unfortunately for the Spiders, a deal could not be reached in the 2014 season and Jackson opted for the opportunity to play with the MLU's Dogfish that year and again in 2015. We're excited to have Jackson back for the 2017 season.
