Jon Greenberg returns to the 2017 Spiders as one of the most traveled players in the Bay Area. Starting in 2002, he played 4 years with Swarthmore College and earned 1st team all-region honors in 2006. That year he led his team to a silver medal in the first DIII college championships. Shortly after he moved to Colorado and played for the area's top club team Johnny Bravo while earning a masters degree in statistics.

In 2010 Jon moved to Shanghai and captained Shanghai's Ultimate team, Shanghai Huwa. While he was there he was selected to play for Team China at the World Championships in Japan in 2012. He returned to the Bay Area in 2014 and established himself in the Bay with the Premier coed club team Mischief.

He joined the Spiders in 2016 and was one of the teams top defensive cutters. Like Chuck Cao, Jon has a very strong forehand huck and he used it to complete 19 assists with only 10 turns and a 93% completion percentage in 2016. With the absence of Kevin Smith expect Jon to put up big numbers in the assist column in 2017.
