Andrew Berry returns to the Spiders in 2017 as an offensive cutter after filling the same role as a reserve player in 2016. In 2016, he was efficient in scoring 14 goals in 121 points, giving him the 2nd highest goals per point total on the team. With his move to the starting rotation, Andrew should be able to build on the success of his 2016 season.

Andrew began his ultimate career in 1997 at Paideia High School in Atlanta, GA and starred as a member of the USA Junior National Team, which earned a Bronze medal at the 2000 World Championships in Germany. He then played 4 years with Cornell University and was the region’s Rookie of the Year in 2001. After school, Andrew moved to Washington, DC and joined Truckstop, the area’s top club team, where he was a top-10 goal scorer at the 2010 National Championships.

After time abroad in China, Andrew returned to the Bay Area in 2013 and became a part of team leadership on Mischief, a premiere coed club team that finished 3rd at the 2016 National Championships.

Outside of the Spiders, Andrew is passionate about creating social impact in the health & wellness space and is a fitness enthusiast who trains for and races the 400m.
